The Legend of FacilityFocus
“Yes, I know that it says “Search Criteria Required!” at the top of the screen, in red letters, with an exclamation point. But that’s just to fool you into thinking that search criteria are required.”

A wonderful example of everyday unusability.

Radiohead Post Encrypted Messages on Website
I love this kind of stuff – what are they up to?

“Interactive” Album Art: The CD-ROMs Of The Digital-Music Age?
I’m utterly unconvinced that interactive booklets are worth anybody’s time – surely that kind of information if what the internet – specifically a bands website – is for? We can do so much better then a bit of flash or pdf with some lyrics in.

No surprise here, and completely fair enough if you ask me.

Looks very promising – in fact, very similar to how I have my copy of OmniWeb set up.

Apple Geniuses are reportedly unbricking iPhones
Classic Apple: under promise (we’re going to break your phone, and we won’t fix it!) and over deliver (well, I guess we might be able to do something for you as you’re such a good customer).

Why Are Web Uploads So Painful?
Hear hear – couldn’t agree more!

YouTube Puts AdSense in Embedded Players
An interesting – and pretty canny – move.

Layer Tennis
Great stuff – I really like volley number 9.

How I would change Adium
Some very interesting ideas in here – I definitely like the look of the mockups. However, I think they’re making a fundamental mistake in thinking about abandoning the buddy list as it doesn’t scale well when you have lots of buddies; most people – other then IM app developers – don’t have enough contacts for it to be a problem.
